Family members have destroyed some objects in an Emergency Room (ER) after their young daughter died on Sunday, May 26, 2019, at Queen Rania Al Abdullah Hospital in the Petra district.

Parents of the four-and-a-half-year-old girl have earlier referred her for four times in a row to the Hospital's Emergency Department, according to Roya's correspondent.
However, the last time the girl was referred to the Hospital was on Saturday, May 25, 2019, where she was suffering from a high fever that lead to her death, according to the Director of the Petra district, Sultan Al-Mady.

Al-Mady added that after the girl had died, a number of people broke into the Emergency Department and broke a glass panel and a computer screen.

The family members blamed the emergency doctors for the girl's death, claiming that the death was due to an incorrect diagnosis.

"The dead body was transferred to the National Center for Forensic at Al Bashir Hospital to find out the causes of the death and decide whether it was due to natural causes or misdiagnosis," Al-Mady stated.
